Our Story
Libre Litigation was not created by accident—and it was not created to be just another law firm.
It was built out of frustration with a system that too often values finality over fairness, efficiency over truth, and procedure over people. After seeing firsthand how many individuals are convicted, sentenced, and then effectively forgotten, we knew there had to be a different way to practice law—one that does not stop fighting simply because a verdict has been entered.
Our work began with a simple but powerful belief: justice does not end at conviction.
Post-conviction litigation is one of the most difficult and overlooked areas of the legal system. Once a case is labeled “final,” resources disappear, doors close, and families are left navigating a complex system alone. We saw too many people with legitimate constitutional claims, ineffective representation, or newly discovered evidence being told there was “nothing that could be done”—often when that simply was not true.
Libre Litigation was founded to change that.
Our firm is built around post-conviction and appellate advocacy—work that requires patience, precision, and a willingness to dig deeply into records, transcripts, and procedural history. We take on cases that demand real analysis, not shortcuts. Every motion, appeal, and petition we file is grounded in law, facts, and a commitment to ethical advocacy.
This firm was also created to be accessible. Too many post-conviction cases are priced out of reach, leaving families with no meaningful options. Libre Litigation was designed to provide serious, professional representation without requiring six-figure retainers, while still delivering high-quality legal work.
At its core, Libre Litigation is about people. Behind every case is a life, a family, and years—sometimes decades—of consequences. We do not view our clients as file numbers or statistics. We see them as individuals who deserve clarity, respect, and an honest chance at justice.
